Wright State University Athletics Brand Guide
While Wright State University Athletics had this logo since the mid-1990s, there were no set guidelines on how to use it across various mediums such as merchandise, uniforms, digital branding, and so forth. Usage was inconsistent and therefore, a brand that audiences didn’t recognize. Add to the mix an outdated typography system that was not user-friendly.
As teams kept making regional and national appearances in tournaments, it was vital that guidelines be created to help staff and coaches create a consistent look in all approaches.
Launched in 2022, these guidelines have helped enforce a consistent approach to all items related to the Wright State Athletics Brand. The guidelines also introduced a typography system that was easy to use and assisted in making designs consistent.
When the audience sees Wright State, they know it’s Wright State.
